Professional Services

From appointment to bank deposit, we’ve got your books covered.

THE FINANCIAL REALITY

Your patients and clients come first. Your financial records need to keep up.

Law offices, dental practices, veterinary clinics, and other professional practices deliver very different services. Every one of them still has to bill for the work, collect what’s owed, manage costs, and know where the practice stands.

We bring matters, appointments, procedures, payroll, and daily operations together in one monthly process.

01

Services rendered

Every matter, visit, and procedure matched to a charge, so completed work makes it onto an invoice.

02

Receivables

Patient and client payments, insurance, retainers, and trust funds tracked through to collection, so you know who still owes what.

03

Cost tracking

Payroll, supplies, equipment, vendors, and overhead organized, so you know what it costs to run the practice and what goes into each service.

04

Reconciliation

Every deposit matched to the payments behind it, with trust accounts reconciled separately.

TRUST ACCOUNTING (IOLTA)

Keep client funds separate, accounted for, and traceable.

For law offices that hold money on behalf of clients, including through Interest on Lawyers’ Trust Accounts (IOLTA), trust records take more than tracking deposits and withdrawals. Every transaction has to be recorded, assigned to the right client or matter, and supported by documentation.

A three-way trust reconciliation compares the adjusted bank balance, the trust cash ledger, and the combined balances of individual client ledgers. All three should agree. The attorney authorizes every disbursement. We record the activity, reconcile the account each month, identify discrepancies, and send you the results.

✓Track client deposits, authorized disbursements, and remaining trust balances
✓Maintain individual client ledgers that account for funds held on behalf of each client
✓Keep earned fees and operating funds out of the trust account

THE QUESTIONS BEHIND THE WORK

Questions your books should answer.

You know your schedule and caseload by heart. Your numbers should be just as easy to read, without digging through bank statements or waiting until year-end.

?Are we billing for all the work we’re doing?
?Who owes us money, and how long have they owed it?
?Which insurers or clients take the longest to pay?
?Where is the money going each month?
?Is the service we perform most actually our most profitable?
?How much of the money in the bank is really ours?
